Sensible Heat (संवेदनशील ऊष्मा)

      The heat at which only the temperature of a substance changes but there is no change in its phase, is called sensible heat. 

                                   Or

      वह ऊष्मा जिस पर किसी पदार्थ के केवल तापमान में ही परिवर्तन होता है लेकिन उसकी अवस्था में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं होता है‌, संवेदनशील ऊष्मा कहलाती है।

Vapour Pressure        (वाष्प दाब)       Vapor pressure is defined as follows :-  (A) For Closed System or Vessel / बंद प्रणाली या पात्र के लिए :- In Detail / विस्तार से :-       1. सबसे पहले एक बर्तन लेते हैं और उसमें किसी द्रव को भरकर उसे किसी ढक्कन से ढक देते हैं।       2. ढकने के बाद द्रव से भरे हुए उस बर्तन को किसी तापमान के स्रोत पर रख देते हैं और एक निश्चित तापमान तब तक देते रहते हैं जब तक कि वह उबलने न लगे।       3. हम देखते हैं कि उबलने के बाद उस द्रव का वाष्पीकरण होने लगता है और धीरे-धीरे वह वाष्प में परिवर्तित होने लगता है।       4. कुछ समय बाद वाष्पीकरण के साथ संघनन भी होने लगता है अर्थात् वाष्प पुनः जल में परिवर्तित होने लगती है।       5. अन्ततः एक स्थिति ऐसी आती है कि जितना द्रव वाष्प में परिवर्तित होता है उतनी ही वाष्प जल में परिवर्तित होती है। (अतः वाष्पीकरण और संघनन की इसी बराबर मात्रा की अवस्था को साम्यावस्था कहते हैं।)       6. अतः इसी साम्...
